Portraits are executed through a classical methodology using ballpoint pen and white charcoal on prepared toned paper (neutral, warm, or cool). Available in large (16 × 12), medium (12 × 9), and small (9 × 6) formats, each work is developed from a provided reference image. Emphasis is placed on structural clarity, precision of line, and the presence of the subject.
Fine art commissions consist of traditionally grounded paintings and series, developed in close collaboration with the client. Each work is tailored to the specific conditions of the space, including scale, interior context, and aesthetic direction, allowing for complex and highly individualized outcomes.
Working across New York City with major mural companies including Seen Media, Overall Murals, and Evergreen Architectural Arts, the artist has executed large-scale, photorealistic murals for clients such as Bacardi, Balenciaga, Citi, Dell, Adult Swim, Hendrick’s, Kara Walker, and PepsiCo. The work demands technical precision and physical coordination, including lift operation, scaffolding, material preparation, and continuous adaptation to weather and site conditions.
Commissioned work includes custom projects for individual clients and small businesses, developed according to the specific requirements of each context. These range from paintings and murals shaping a restaurant’s visual identity to book covers, illustrations, and logo design for publishing, as well as bespoke works, promotional imagery, and studio assistance across varied creative fields.
Applied work extends across several distinct fields, including film, interior decor, decorative painting, and art handling. This includes storyboards, set design, original painting and illustration, acting, and multiple production functions on Sketch (2017), an award-winning short film; close collaboration on residential interior projects throughout New York, culminating in a custom wallpaper design; faux-painted stoneware informed by traditional motifs; and professional art handling, including work for Marlborough Gallery, one of the most historically established names in the international gallery world.
Community-based work spans exhibition coordination, public mural projects, and artist-led drawing programs. As Exhibitions and Program Coordinator at Saratoga Arts, this included managing exhibitions from conception to completion, overseeing artist relations, contracts, budgets, curatorial research, scheduling, and exhibition design in support of public engagement; public mural work includes the Paint by Numbers Community Mural for Saratoga Arts, a large- scale participatory project executed with over 200 contributors and rooted in local history and landscape; teaching includes developing and leading a weekly life drawing program in Brooklyn from 2013 to 2020, building a local community of artists through sustained practice, model coordination, and advanced figure drawing instruction.
